They shared the joy of
skiing with us all...
Each ski season brings with it a renewed sense of joy. As fall gives
way to winter, we look forward to the first snowfall and the club's
activities ahead.
None of this would be
possible without the contributions of so many of our club's past
members, all of whom shared their passion for skiing with us, and made our joy
possible through their efforts.
We are greatly saddened by
the recent loss of the following members and the 2007-2008 ski
season is dedicated to their memories, their contributions, and
their love of skiing.

Mark G. Daniels
Passed away Thursday, February 14th,
2008.
Heiliger Huegel was a very important and very special place to
Mark. Mark and Family joined Heiliger Huegel in 1977. He was an
active Ski Patrol member for many years. He was instrumental in
rebuilding the ski patrol program at the club shortly after he
joined. He also designed several covers for the Membership
Directory.
Most importantly, he left a family legacy of active participation
in the Club. All of the Daniels, Hauskes, and Doerings exemplify
the volunteerism that Heiliger Huegel is all about and Mark had
a big hand in that.
